Harshil Kothari is a passionate software engineer with over 4.5 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Sandvine, where he is responsible for developing software solutions using various technologies. Harshil has a strong background in full-stack development, machine learning, blockchain, and internet of things. Harshil is an avid programmer who loves to solve real-world problems using software. He believes that programming can transform and improve the lives of people all around the world. This belief motivated him to develop an IoT project called "BRIDGE," which can be helpful to paralyzed people to control IR devices. Throughout his professional work experience, Harshil has worked on multiple projects using multiple technologies, which taught him new concepts as well as designing complex architectures and databases. Most recently, he has implemented a custom design pattern that combines three design patterns, "Chain of Responsibility," "Commander," and "Decorative," and further automating it through cron jobs to process data using Python, Nodejs, and Elastic Search. This feature allowed applications to process data faster and perform operations for Users more quickly. Harshil is currently exploring new technologies and learning machine learning. During the Covid-19 situation, he developed an Alexa skill for notifying users with figures of each country and provinces which are compiled by John Hopkins University. In his free time, he plays coding hackathons on Hackerrank and HackerEarth, which challenges him in aspects like creativity, problem-solving, quick processing. Harshil has a strong skill set that includes programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, Typescript, and Javascript. He is proficient in frameworks such as NodeJS, Angular, Django, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, Flask, nlptk, and Keras. He also has experience working with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL/MsSQL, POSTGRESQL, Redis, Elastic Stack, LDAP, and Big Query. Harshil is well-versed in agile and scrum methodologies and has experience working with cloud computing platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, Digital Ocean, and Azure. Harshil holds a Master's degree in Applied Computing from the University of Windsor and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Engineering from Chhotubhai Gopalbhai Patel Institute of Technology.
