Harshil Vyas is a seasoned software development professional with over 22 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, and networking. He has an excellent track record of product ownership, design, and execution, having built multiple new product teams from the ground up. Harshil is a strong technology leader who has executed complex engineering projects with cross-functional and cross-site teams. Harshil's specialties include cloud applications and platform, artificial intelligence and machine learning, WebUI, NMS, WLAN, SDWAN, switching/routing, security (L2/L3/FIPS), wireless, infrastructure, embedded platform, UCC (Lync and other voice ALGs), HA, remote access, and VPN. He is currently serving as the VP Engineering & Country Head, India at Sumo Logic, where he is responsible for WLAN products and solutions. He grew the access point team to 12 engineers and took ownership of AP datapath and remote access point projects, delivering multiple features in AOS. Harshil also built and grew the Bengaluru voice team (SIP, H323 ALGs) and was responsible for delivering IPV6 Phase-1 in Aruba OS, a cross-team project with 16 engineers. Prior to Sumo Logic, Harshil served as the VP & Head, Cloud Applications & Platform, India at Hewlett Packard, where he headed Chennai & Bangalore's 200 engineers strong Cloud Applications & Platform Teams. He was responsible for wireless, wired & SDWAN network management & analytics apps and deep network insights & service assurance using AI. Harshil built the team from scratch and grew it to a revenue of $100 million per year. Before that, he worked as a Tech Lead at Meru, where he was responsible for integrating MadWiFi driver with MeruOS to support Atheros AP and delivered a virtual cell solution. He also started and built the Bengaluru controller team. Harshil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from L.D College of Engineering. His technical skills include senior software engineering, infrastructure, AI, ML, and software engineering. With 23.45 years of relevant experience, Harshil is an accomplished professional who has successfully led multiple teams and delivered complex projects.
