Harshit Anurag is a Full Stack Developer at Microsoft India with over 3 years of experience in the field of software engineering. He has a strong background in Full Stack development and Big Data projects, and is skilled in Agile processes, Azure Cloud, Databricks, HDInsight, DataFactory, Data Warehouse, Logic Apps, Angular, ASP.NET, C++, C#, Typescript, Python, Java, and Apache Spark. At Microsoft, Harshit is responsible for developing software solutions for Bing Shopping. He has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft, where he developed a backend database reader for multiple NoSQL databases of android applications, simplifying the telemetry extraction and app debugging experience for developers. Prior to joining Microsoft, Harshit worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur. Here, he worked on creating a crowd-sensed system to monitor real-time street lighting conditions in a novel approach using smartphone sensors during bike navigation. The system successfully detected both functioning and non-functioning light poles with good accuracy, and can produce uniformly calibrated illumination levels. Harshit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur. He completed his Higher Secondary education from Central Hindu Boys School and Secondary education from the same institution.
