Harshit Bajpai is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a diverse range of experience across three countries. He is currently working as a Software Engineer III (Backend) at PayPay Corporation in Tokyo, where he is part of the core payment feature team responsible for about 20 separate microservices. He has gained extensive knowledge in developing large-scale systems that can handle a huge transaction rate, as well as tsunami testing, load testing, and smoke testing to ensure that services can withstand a large scale of traffic. Harshit has a strong background in fintech, having previously worked at NEC as a Distributed Systems Engineer. He also has experience in EdTech and E-commerce, having worked as a Software Engineer at KinderPass, where he led the backend development team and built several modules from scratch. He has integrated various third-party APIs, including Shopify integration, and has written backend algorithms for product recommendation and currency conversion mechanisms. He has also scaled existing architecture to handle 100K daily active users. Harshit has experience in a wide range of technologies, including Java, Spring framework, Kotlin, Python, Django, Flask, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, C++, Fortran, Scheduling Algorithms, SLURM/PBS scripting, MPI/OpenMP programming, Linux/Unix, Shell, and REST APIs.
