Harshit Chauhan is a highly motivated and enthusiastic software engineer, currently working as a Software Engineer Intern at Factors.ai. He is a finalist of Smart India Hackathon'22 and has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication (Major) and Computer Science Engineering (Minor) from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat. With a CGPA of 8.86, Harshit has proven to be an outstanding student in his field of study. Harshit is a full-stack web developer with a passion for learning new technologies. He has a relevant experience of 0.86 years and has worked majorly in web development. Harshit loves to solve real-world problems through code and is always eager to learn new things every day. At Factors.ai, Harshit collaborates with a team of 5 and develops application programming interfaces for various services while maintaining backward compatibility with existing services. He also queries the database for essential CRUD operations required in the API. Harshit has deployed a wide range of services to Docker containers and has conducted end-to-end testing, integration with legacy data, and documentation. In the past, Harshit has worked as a Core Member at MLSA NIT Surat, where he planned and coordinated events, lectures, and workshops on themes based on software development. He also worked as an Executive at ACM Association for Computing Machinery, where he organized Dotslash 4.0, a national-level hackathon conducted by NIT Surat. Harshit has participated in competitive coding contests and has publicized various events related to data structures, algorithms, interview preparation, and development conducted by senior students and guest speakers.
