Harshit Gautam is a diligent and industrious software engineer with a passion for machine learning, statistics, and their applications. He is currently working as a Cloud Service Engineer at Samsung, where he is responsible for developing and deploying deep learning models for object detection, instance segmentation, and text summarization. Harshit has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. He also completed his 12th ISC from St. Thomas English Medium School, Meerut. With 2.94 years of relevant experience, Harshit has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Samsung, where he was part of the web and voice intelligence team. During his tenure, he developed an accent classification model from scratch for deployment on Samsung T.V. using TensorFlow, Python, and TensorFlow Lite. He also developed a transformer-based text summarization model used in summarization of news articles and a content-based movie recommendation system utilizing bidirectional encoders. Harshit has also worked as an Intern at Transabel, where he implemented deep learning models for object detection, instance segmentation, and data wrangling pipelines. Harshit's tech stack includes AWS, SQL, computer vision, Python, Redis, Kubernetes, Kafka, mobile, object detection, JavaScript, TensorFlow, Golang, Java, recommendation systems, MySQL, and web development. He is always eager to learn and explore more of deep learning, computer vision, and voice intelligence. Harshit is a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to find solutions to complex problems. He is committed to understanding the intricacies of life through the lens of machine learning and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow.
