Harshit Kumar is a B. Tech graduate from IIT Ropar with a diverse set of skills and experience in the field of software engineering. He has worked on various projects as a full-stack developer and backend engineer. Harshit has built a webapp that could be used as a login system for banking websites that was free from phishing attacks. He also practiced his skills in building a railway reservation system as a course project and again as a backend developer in his intern managing the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Cloud Speech-To-Text API. Apart from this, Harshit has also worked on Deep learning projects as an intern and course projects. He regularly practices competitive programming on websites such as Codeforces and HackerRank to improve his problem-solving skills. He aims to learn developing webapps using MERN stack to progress towards becoming a full-stack developer. Harshit is also interested in exploring cryptography and quantum computing. Currently, Harshit is working as an SDE at m3 india. He has previously worked as a Software Developer - Backend Intern at topline co., ltd. where he worked on the backend of a webapp whose aim was Speech-To-Text(STT) conversion of a recorded telephonic conversation and then a graphical display of the NLP (sentiment analysis) of the obtained transcript. He used Python (Flask) to develop the backend and learned a lot of new things during the internship including but not limited to Audio decryption and sampling, different audio formats and their bit rate, Google Cloud Platform, Google Cloud STT and NLP APIs. He was also awarded a PPO for his extraordinary performance during the internship. Harshit has a strong educational background, having completed his B. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar, with a 9.06 CGPA. He has also completed his Intermediate from Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad, and his Class 10th from Mount Carmel School, Muradnagar.
