Harshit Mahajan is a Software Developer with a passion for solving real-world problems using technology. He is currently working as an SDE-2 at Atlassian, where he has been instrumental in driving multiple reliability initiatives as a part of the Data Platform Team. During the platform's decomposition into two microservices separating the data and control plane, Harshit was responsible for reliability improvements for Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, and Memcached. He has also written scripts for performance and synthetic tests, as well as added monitoring dashboards and detectors. Harshit's tech stack includes Spring Boot, Java, AWS, DynamoDB, SQS, Elasticsearch, Memcached, and Locust. He has relevant experience of 2.19 years in the field of Software Engineering. Before joining Atlassian, Harshit worked as an SDE Intern at Flipkart, where he developed two microservices for the Liquidation Bidding Portal. He automated auction and bundle management using the Dropwizard framework in Java, MySQL, Hibernate, and Guice. Harshit also led the UI effort to build the Bidding Portal, offering functionalities to view and participate in auctions using React, Typescript, and Node.js. Harshit graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) in 2021. He also holds a CBSE degree from Manav Sthali School, where he completed his secondary education. Harshit's tech stack includes Elastic Search, AWS, Microservices, Java, Spring Boot, Spring, test, Javascript, Typescript, MySQL, ui, and NodeJS.
