Harshit Rohatgi is a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for using technology to scale human proficiency. With over a decade of experience, Harshit has helped industry leaders solve complex problems in domains such as eCommerce systems, cloud software, and web standards. He is proficient in Java and Javascript, and is also a hobbyist Pythonista. Harshit is well-versed in AWS and has a keen interest in DevOps. Currently, Harshit is working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer in the Excel Online product. In his previous roles, he worked at Amazon as a Senior Software Engineer for the CTPS organization, where he focused on Seller verification for sellers on various Amazon and AWS storefronts. He also worked as one of the core developers for the AWS Marketplace team, responsible for developing and maintaining a digital catalog with thousands of independent software vendors that makes it easy for customers to find, buy, and deploy software on AWS. Outside of work, Harshit is pursuing courses in financial trading to revisit his basic Math skills and combine them with massive distributed stream data set brokers generate. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, which he is expected to complete in 2024.
