Harshit S. is a Software Engineer Intern at EATCLUB Brands (formerly BOX8) with a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from NIT Agartala. He is a quick learner with an analytical approach and has a passion for breaking boundaries rather than waiting for someone else to do it. Harshit has gained experience in various fields during his internships at Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and Widhya. At IIT Kharagpur, he built a Machine Learning Model that predicts the state of mining trucks with 96% accuracy, which helps supervisors understand the field layout of carrier trucks and plan work accordingly. He also web scraped a Government Health Portal, which provided data for the calculation of the distance matrix of different hospitals from one another. Additionally, he calculated the distance matrix of 1560 hospitals from the focal points of their respective blocks, which helped authorities make a suitable layout. During his winter internship at Widhya, Harshit modeled a stock prediction for Apple after processing 52-week data with a Mean Squared Error of 30. He also modeled a Covid-19 increase in patients with the help of three months data and was able to predict the right number of patients after a month. The dataset proved to have an exponential growth in starting months. Furthermore, he modeled a Bitcoin Price Prediction after processing a large dataset with 24 columns with a Mean Squared Error of 390.06.
