Harshit Sharan is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer III at Amazon's Development Center in India. He is currently working in the Social Ads team, where he is responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies such as JAVA, EMR, Hadoop, Hive, Scala, Spark, javascript, perl, and other AWS solutions. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Harshit has a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, and he is always eager to learn new technologies and programming languages. Harshit graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering. During his time at college, he completed an Integrated Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech) program, which provided him with a solid foundation in computer science and engineering. He also gained valuable internship experience working in various fast-paced startups, where he honed his skills in the area of BigData Analysis in Hadoop using MR. In addition to his work at Amazon, Harshit has also worked for other companies in the past. He has worked as a Multimedia Instructor at The International School Bangalore (TISB), where he taught a complete Multimedia course. He has also worked as an R&D Software Intern at moveinsync, where he gained experience in Telemetric Analysis, Secured Travelling Solution, and Ad hoc request-based vehicle dispatch system.
