Harshit Taneja is a seasoned Senior QA | SDET II at Qualcomm with over 5 years of experience in the software engineering industry, specifically in the Automotive and IOT domain. He is an expert in Black box functional testing, Integration API, and performance testing, KPIs. Harshit has a wealth of experience in developing automation frameworks to be used for multiple testing using Python. He has extensive knowledge in the audio domain, connectivity- BT and wifi, allplay, speech recognition, smartwatches, and has worked on test plans and test strategies for projects and weekly reports to stakeholders. Harshit has visited the on-site office in Germany twice for product training and testing for customer products. He is knowledgeable in SQL, SCM like HG, Git, perforce, and familiar with Agile processes, scrum, and Jenkins. Currently, he is working as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm, where he is responsible for automation framework development using Python used to automate manual test cases using Python. He is a key resource for KPI calculation in areas like HDMI audio codes, MRM, allplay in-room/multiroom. Harshit has worked as a feature lead of the new features with complete ownership and full responsibility. He is currently working on end-to-end BT automation for smartwatches and android phones. Previously, Harshit worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Nuance Communications, where he worked on embedded devices and AI software products used in connected and smart cars like ASR, TTS, Biometry, and Audio. He has vast experience in integration testing using Automation and regression testing and performance testing for ASR using various acoustic models for different languages. Harshit led tasks for testing and was the main POC between dev/senior team and test teams for the tasks. He developed a few automation scripts using Python to minimize manual tasks and to be used for CI/CD processes. Harshit had the opportunity to visit onsite Germany twice and work and learn with senior members in diverse cultures. Harshit holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Science from Motivational Pathway, where he graduated in 2016.
