Harshita Garg is a Senior Specialist in Marketing at Shiprocket, where she helps brands build communities and creates social media strategies. With a passion for community management, content writing, and public speaking, Harshita has hosted over 170 talks on writing, marketing, and freelancing. Harshita completed her Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from GGSIPU. She has always been interested in extracurricular activities and has secured various positions in college societies. She started the GeeksForGeeks student chapter in her college and served as a core team member for the Literary Society of her college. She was also the student head of the technical magazine of the IT department and served as a Content Head for the DSC student chapter. Harshita got her first paid content writing internship as a freshman back in 2019 and continued with the same despite her parents' advice to quit because of the low pay. She completed 20+ internships in the fields of marketing, blog writing, website development, and graphic designing with various organizations, tech and non-tech communities, startups, and renowned companies in 2020. Harshita is a public speaking enthusiast who started her talk series and overcame her fear. She has done 170+ webinars with 100+ speakers and created a community of 380+ members to this day. She has been invited as a guest speaker by various organizations and individuals for live sessions. She has also compiled an anthology titled "Efficacious." Harshita has published a research paper under IEMIS 2020 on Blockchain and Machine Learning. She has been featured on various online platforms like Refrens, Young Influx, YouthBing, Talks, and Tales, Infigon Talks, and Your Story My Pen, where her life journey is published in the form of blogs, photos, and videos. Harshita's services include social media marketing, building and managing communities, managing online events, blog writing, and LinkedIn personal branding. She can also be invited as a guest speaker to speak on the topics she mentioned above. Currently, Harshita builds communities, manages social media platforms for brands, and creates content on LinkedIn and Twitter, educating her audience on the community management domain and crowning it up with some real-life stories. She has previously worked as a Copywriter at Sonco Technologies and a Community Manager Consultant at Kool Kanya.
