Harshita Ojha is a software engineer at Unacademy, currently working with the Data Science team. She is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where she pursued an Integrated Dual Degree in Biotechnology. Harshita is always curious about utilizing machine learning to tackle intricate and ambiguously stated problems. She believes in connecting the dots between the mathematical universality and seemingly unrelated fields. Harshita has relevant experience of 1.19 years in the field of software engineering, machine learning, and data science. She has previously worked as a Machine Learning Intern at Grazitti Interactive, where she employed a stepwise approach of text summarization and precise answer extraction to build a QnA model. She has also worked as a UROP Scholar at Imperial College London, where she analyzed dynamic systems infected with fungal spores to understand disease-pathogenesis in humans under the guidance of Dr. Reiko J. Tanaka, Department of Bioengineering, Imperial College London. Harshita's educational background includes a degree in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, where she pursued an Integrated Dual Degree. She also completed her 11th and 12th-grade education in Science from Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School and her High School education from Carmel Convent High School. Harshita's technical skills include software engineering, machine learning, testing, Python, and data science. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and skills in these areas. In her current role at Unacademy, Harshita is utilizing her technical skills to develop innovative solutions that help students learn better.
