Harshitha Kurra is a highly skilled software engineer with 3.85 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, she is working as a WomenInTech Mentor at athenahacks, where she is helping young women to explore and pursue their careers in technology. Harshitha is also an alumna of the University of Southern California (USC), where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in the same field from USC, which is expected to be completed by December 2022. Harshitha has previously worked as a Student Worker at USC Information Technology Services (ITS), where she served as a Tech Assistant at Learning Environments. She has also worked as a Software Engineer at GAVS Technologies, where she developed automated solutions for clients across the USA, the UK, UAE, and India. Harshitha was awarded the title of "Tech Guru" for performing automation single-handedly for the Intra-GAVS project. Her responsibilities at GAVS Technologies included presenting the project/tasks to clients, coordinating, planning, and working on the end-to-end implementations, which involved dealing with millions of data. She has used various tools such as Python, Powershell, Apache Airflow, Ayehu NG workflow tool, and SQL(Databases) during her work. Harshitha's technical skills include Software Engineering, SQL, Apache Airflow, and Python. She is a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow in her field.
