Harshul Gandhi is a Senior Engineer (VP) at Goldman Sachs, with a keen interest in the end-to-end design and development of software systems and applications. He is also interested in web-related topics such as security and development, as well as data analytics. With a focus on practical implementation, Harshul strives to convert theoretical concepts into real-world solutions. Currently, Harshul works with Works Applications in Singapore as a Research and Development Software Engineer, leading a development team for the Finance and Strategy product. He is also responsible for handling Dev and Staging environment related tasks. Prior to this, Harshul was part of the team developing the Expense Management product. He has two years of industrial experience, having worked with ZS Associates and Verizon, where he designed, developed, and operationalized sales force management systems and a unified ordering system, respectively. Harshul holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, where he worked on a variety of topics such as Computer Vision, Web development and security, and Business Analytics. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant under Prof Tan Sun Teck at the School of Computing NUS, mentoring students on problems related to Data Structures and Algorithms. He also worked as an intern at Quantum Inventions, where he designed and implemented a new advertisement recommendation model using Python and PostgreSQL.
