Harshvardhan D. is a passionate and driven Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He is currently pursuing a Master of Information Systems Management at Carnegie Mellon University and is actively seeking Summer 2023 internships in Project Management. Harshvardhan has a strong technical background and has engineered various applications based on Advanced Java concepts, Web development technologies, and Database frameworks. He is proficient in Spring Boot, Microservices, AngularJS, SQL (Oracle), git, and Agile Development. He is also exploring microservices for efficient collaboration among different components to improve the overall performance of applications. Currently working at L&T as a Software Engineer, Harshvardhan has designed numerous JUNIT test cases to test the functionality of APIs and assembled multiple REST services for users to consume to get access to data. He has leveraged Jenkins for efficient building and testing of projects and Release Lifecycle Management for convenient deployment to higher environments. He has also explored AngularJS as a frontend technology for the REST services and interpreted a large amount of Metadata and constructed Stored Procedures to store that data in user-friendly formats. In the past, Harshvardhan has worked as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at L&T, where he explored Core and Advanced Java concepts, Web technologies like AngularJS and HTML. He collaborated with a team of Trainees to develop and integrate a web-based full-stack application capable of conducting online examinations and declaring the results to the users. He was awarded 'Path Finder' for finding innovative solutions in October 2019. Harshvardhan's future aspirations include working as a Solutions Director and working with a diverse team. He believes this would help him stay in touch with his technical abilities while collaborating and coordinating with new people. In his free time, he enjoys riding a bike across the highways.
