Harsimran Singh is a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer with a passion for learning. With 4 years of experience in the industry, he has developed expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kafka, Datadog, and Python. Currently working as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Standard Chartered, he is responsible for designing architecture and implementation for running Kafka on Kubernetes, onboarding various add-ons in EKS, developing Kubernetes Operator using GoLang, and extensively using Terraform & Helm charts to promote IaaC. In the past, Harsimran has worked with Paytm as a DevOps Engineer (Data), where he set up a Kafka cluster using Terraform & Ansible, completely automated Monitoring setup for the whole Kafka cluster, and helped set up a complete data lake infrastructure for Paytm Money. He also worked with Amazon as a Cloud Support Associate (Linux), where he supported customer’s critical applications deployed on Amazon EC2 Linux instances and resolved complex OS level issues. Harsimran completed his B.Tech in Computer Engineering from Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology in 2017. He also holds a degree from Jaspal Kaur Public School and Guru Nanak Public School, Punjabi Bagh. He is highly proficient in Terraform, SRE, Kubernetes, Kafka, Ansible, AWS, DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Python, Senior Software Engineer, infra, Web, Hadoop, Golang, SQL, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Azure, and Mobile.
