Harun Sharma is an experienced IT professional with a career spanning over 8 years in functional and automation testing across the banking and telecommunication industries. Currently serving as the Lead Software QA Engineer at PlanSource, Harun is an expert in working with Agile methodologies, cloud-based platforms (AWS), and continuous integration environments (CI/CD). Harun's core competencies include Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, Functional and Database testing, and he has a proven track record of designing and delivering automation test frameworks for CI using Page Object Model with TestNG. Prior to his current role, Harun has served as a Senior System Analyst at Sonata Software, where he prepared, reviewed, submitted, and provided walkthroughs of QA plans and exit reports to onshore and offshore teams. He has also designed test cases using test design techniques and managed defect tracking in Bugzilla. Harun has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, where he developed over 300 new scripts across six different projects in automation using the Cucumber framework. He also configured it to Jenkins for continuous integration and developed a suite as part of the shift left and shift right for three applications as part of the DevOps initiative. Harun upskilled to UFT to help the team fix failed scripts across a few legacy applications. Harun holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Amrita University.
