Heet Shah is a seasoned full-stack developer with over 4 years of experience in the software industry. He has worked with multiple startups and a larger organization, gaining valuable experience in both environments. He is passionate about learning the latest and greatest technologies, whether that's on the front-end or back-end. He is currently seeking new opportunities within the software engineering discipline and is eager to use his proven experience to improve software quality. Heet is currently working as an SDE 2 at godutch, where he is a core back-end engineer responsible for building out new features and improving the performance of existing ones. He has extensive experience working with NodeJS, React, Redux, AWS (Lambda, EC2, Route53, ECS, Codepipeline, S3, RDS, Cognito, and other services), and MySQL. In his previous role as a Senior Javascript Developer at MakeStories, Heet built a real-time collaboration feature using NodeJS, SocketIO.js, and Redux. He also developed a comment feature for the product and turned it into an SDK that could be used for upcoming products. Additionally, he worked with the client (Network 18) and contributed to migrating their legacy code to NextJS (server-side rendering). He has also worked as a Test Automation Engineer at Barclays, where he migrated an old data-driven framework to a BDD framework and designed test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Heet holds a Btech IT degree from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI). He has a diverse tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Backend, NodeJS, AWS, Redux, Javascript, ECS, MySQL, MongoDB, Frontend, testing, Selenium, SDET, Docker, Typescript, and Jenkins.
