Hem Acharya is a skilled software engineer with nearly 5 years of experience in the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandals Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, University of Mumbai. During his undergrad, Hem was actively involved in the Marketing team of The Computer Society of India Student Chapter and served as the Vice Chairperson in the year 2016-17. Currently, Hem works as an Associate Software Engineer at JP Morgan Chase and Co. Prior to this, he worked as a Staff Consultant with Oracle Financial Services Software, formerly I-Flex Solutions. Hem was a part of the Middle East DigX Consulting team and worked on projects for three major Middle Eastern banks, including Mashreqbank PSC for FCDB, National Bank of Egypt for FCDB and OBDX, and Ahli United Bank, Kuwait for OBDX. Hem has extensive experience in full-stack development, including front-end UI development using XML, XSL, OJET, Angular, HTML, and CSS, and back-end Java development using REST APIs. He also has experience in developing Android and iOS applications for FCDB and OBDX, incorporating various security features like Bill Payments, Soft Token Authorization, and Trade Finance. Aside from his technical skills, Hem is an avid sports follower, actor, and a black belt in Karate. He is a quick learner, a team player, and has excellent communication skills. Hem has conducted various technical sessions for juniors and newly joined seniors to help them understand the product better. Hem's skills and experience make him a valuable asset to any team, and he is always eager to take on new challenges and learn new technologies.
