Hemabh Kamboj is an experienced Data Engineer with a passion for working with cutting-edge technologies. He has a strong background in Hive, Apache Airflow, Prestosql (trino), and Argo workflow engine, and has worked with major cloud service providers like AWS. Hemabh has a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, containerization, and cluster architecture over Kubernetes. He is also skilled in maintaining core logging pipelines using Fluentd, Prometheus, Statsd, Logstash, and powered production analytics with Kibana and Grafana. Hemabh's experience in Python and GoLang has helped him perform well with the above tools. Hemabh's journey from a python script writer to maintaining the whole stack has been a constant learning experience. He has built a load aware scaling interface for resource-intensive python workloads using AWS EKS. This has helped customers to run data science use cases under existing ETL pipelining architecture in a cost-effective manner. Hemabh has also built CLI based internal tooling which helped to avoid cascading failures, fix issues with data, and restore business as usual in case of failures. Currently, Hemabh is working as a Software Engineer at Animall, where his daily work includes end-to-end maintenance orchestration and OLAP/OLTP engine behind Atlan’s product offering. He has also built and owns metadata recommendation bots, built over Argo orchestration layer. Hemabh holds a Bachelor's in Technology in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
