In his previous role as a Software Development Engineer II at Snapdeal, Hemant designed and programmed the new Checkout buy flow service for Apps and Msite, which cumulatively account for more than 90% of the total orders on the platform. He was responsible for handling feature development on various multi-threaded, highly scalable Spring-based microservices, including Msite, Cart, Checkout, Promo, and OMS. Hemant also improved the performance of REST API-based microservices using distributed caching and set up a monitoring framework for multiple teams using Telegraf as a log parser along with InfluxDB and Grafana. Hemant's education background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and a High School degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from Army Public School.
