Hemant Sharma is an experienced Principal Software Engineer currently working at Cadence Design Systems. With almost a decade of experience in the Physical Verification domain, Hemant has worked on SOC level and computer software EDA industry projects. He has also contributed to the implementation of IO Ring for area optimization and meeting various SSN/SSO/ESD requirements. Hemant is skilled in several areas, including Design Rule Checking (DRC), LVS, PERC, IO Ring design for Wire Bond Chip, Die Netlist & Package Netlist, DFM, Fill, Coloring, Scripting in Perl, Layout modifications through batch programming with Layout editors, and Understanding of TLEF file. He has worked with several tools, including Innovus, Calibre, PVS/Pegasus, and ICV. Hemant holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in VLSI Design from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. Before joining Cadence, he worked as a Staff Engineer and Technical Leader at STMicroelectronics.
