Hemanth is passionate about exploring technology and creating tools that can solve real-life problems. He has a few years of experience in building Android Apps, Web Backends in various frameworks, Infrastructure, DevOps, and working with Blockchain technologies. Currently, Hemanth is working as a Software Engineer Intern at ChaosNative, where he is a part of the backend and infrastructure team. His responsibilities include optimizing the authentication micro-service by 40% and reducing API response time by 34% via clean code practices, using GoLang, Kubernetes, gRPC, and graphQL. Hemanth has previously worked as an Open Source Developer at Lightning Network, where he contributed to Lightning Network Daemon and Bitcoin Development Kit. He has also worked as a Student Developer with LitmusChaos (CNCF) as part of Google Summer of Code. During his tenure, he rewrote LitmusPortal Authentication server and achieved 80% optimization, implemented clean architecture for scalable codebase, integrated OIDC provider for the LitmusPortal cluster deployment, and refactored cluster deployment templates, among other things. Hemanth's interests lie in Distributed systems, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering.
