Hemanth Puttashamaiah is a seasoned semiconductor leader with over 21 years of comprehensive experience in the VLSI industry. He has a visible track record of achievements in product development and is known for his hard-charging leadership style. Hemanth has a distinct ability to train, motivate, and lead efficient, goal-focused teams. Hemanth has experience working in SoC, FPGA, ASIC, and Microcontrollers domains. He is an enthusiastic performer with strong time management skills and the ability to develop staff loyalty. Currently, Hemanth is the Director of Engineering, SoC Design at Qualcomm, where he is responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge semiconductor products. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Hemanth was the Managing Partner at Lotus Sustainability Partners, where he provided environment, health, safety, and sustainability consulting in various industries, including Automotive, Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, IT, Aerospace, Retail, and Medical Education. Before that, he was the Director of Engineering at Mindlance Technologies, where he grew and led RTL Design, DV, and Analog practices. He also hired over 70 engineers and led teams working on multiple SoCs across different sites. Hemanth holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Digital Systems from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University. He has a diverse tech stack, including experience as a Senior Software Engineer, Javascript, Web, MySQL, MongoDB, NodeJS, Java, Software Engineer, infra, SQL, AWS, Frontend, CI/CD, Typescript, Spring Boot, Spring, Microservices, Integration, ui, and Backend.
