Hemanth Raj is a highly experienced Network Engineer with over 12 years of experience in testing, deploying, designing, and migrating various customer networks. He has a solid understanding of challenges facing various web, mail, and DNS services, and has worked on setting up enterprise networks, large-scale web-scale networks, and load balancers in data center networks. Currently, Hemanth is working at Google as a Network Engineer, where he is responsible for building the data center network for Google Cloud VMware Engine, triaging and fixing all network infra and network service issues. He has also worked on the Disaggregated Cell Site Gateway (DCSG) for Telecom Infra Project and built a low latency trading network setup for AlphaGrep Securities. Hemanth's specialties include network design (infrastructure, data center, and security), large-scale WAN design and implementation, and validating routers for security compliant. He is highly skilled in using Cisco 7600, ASR9k, Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k, 3560, and Catalyst 6500 switches, as well as Ericsson Smart Edge (SE) and Smart Services Router (SSR). Hemanth has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from Anna University and has completed his HSC from Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He is skilled in various technologies such as test, infra, web, iOS, AWS, integration, Python, mobile, senior software engineer, Ansible, CI/CD, SDET, QA, Azure, and GCP.
