Hemanth Udupi is a highly skilled software development engineer and leader with over 7 years of experience in the industry. He is currently working at Adobe as a Senior SDE and Leader for Photoshop and Illustrator, where he has developed the Discover Panel for these products. He is also the sole developer of the data analytics for this project, which has been a key contribution to the team. Hemanth is a member of the Web Performance Working Group at W3C, where he works towards providing methods to measure aspects of application performance of user agent features and APIs. He has also been a judge at several prestigious awards, including the 36th SIIA CODiE Awards, 9th Stevie Asia-Pacific Awards, 19th American Business Awards, 18th International Business Awards, and 41st SIIA Excel Awards. In his previous role at Adobe, Hemanth was the engineering lead for Creative Cloud Search, where he developed the Creative Cloud Homepage and improved its performance by 30% with prefetch, caching, and reducing unnecessary rendering of components. He also built a logger for the UI to track warnings and errors and owned and monitored the Code Coverage infrastructure and enforced code coverage standards in the project's code. Hemanth has a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
