Henry Robinson is a highly experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer with a strong background in distributed systems and database engineering. Currently employed at Slack, he is responsible for developing and maintaining critical components of the company's software platform. Henry's career began at Cloudera, where he was one of the first ten employees and stayed through the company's 150x growth and IPO. During his time there, he played a key role in building Cloudera's big data, open-source platform, contributing to several projects such as Apache Impala, Apache Flume, Apache ZooKeeper, Cloudera Manager, and Cloudera Hue. He was a committer and PMC member of Apache Impala and Apache ZooKeeper.
