Heramb Lonkar is a highly motivated and result-oriented professional with expertise in Python, R, SQL, and a range of other data science and analytics tools. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science and Analytics with a concentration in Big Data and Machine Learning from Georgia State University. Heramb has over 5 years of relevant experience and has worked as a Data Analyst at Autodesk, where he developed a forecasting model using Monte-Carlo simulations to gain insights into Anual Contract Value (ACV). He also designed a pipeline to automatically fetch data to PowerBI to run python scripts to generate new simulations. Heramb has also worked as a Research Assistant at Georgia State University, where he is currently working in the Data Mining Lab, which is funded by NASA and NSF. In this role, Heramb is working on Solar Wind prediction based on Simulation data, where he is developing a surrogate model using Deep Neural Networks. He is currently implementing CNN-based models using TensorFlow to train 30GB+ of images. He has also worked on Data-Driven Forecasting of Solar Line of Sight Magnetograms, where he developed an image processing pipeline using OpenCV-Python. Additionally, he has implemented a correlation-based feature selection algorithm on time-series SWAN-SF dataset derived from images captured by Solar Dynamic Observatory-NASA. Heramb has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, which he completed in 2017. He is skilled in research, ML, Data Science, Big Data, Snowflake, CNN, OpenCV, Image Processing, TensorFlow, and Neural Networks. He is a team player with excellent communication skills and is willing to work as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or Machine Learning Engineer in a globally reputed company.
