Het Patel is a highly motivated and passionate software engineer with a strong background in computer science and engineering. He is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University, with an expected graduation date of June 2024. Het is actively seeking an internship for the summer of 2023 to further develop his skills and gain real-world experience. Het has experience working as a Software Engineer Intern at Samsung Research, where he utilized Airflow and AWS for parallel processing of data pipeline jobs for processing Ads data. He also added automation using Python script to add new data sources to the pipeline. Het cleared Samsung's Advanced & Professional software competency tests based on problem-solving with data structures and algorithms in C++. Het's skillset includes C/C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Git/Github, Linux, Docker, Amazon Web Services, algorithms, and data structures. He is also proficient in mobile and web development, machine learning, and Apache Airflow. In addition to his technical skills, Het has also demonstrated strong leadership abilities as the Executive Head of CodeAdda - Programming Club, Nirma University. He taught students how to solve problems using data structures and algorithms for competitive programming and conducted a webinar in collaboration with CodeChef to spread awareness about competitive programming. Het holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Nirma University, where he gained a solid foundation in programming and software development. He also attended Podar International School for his secondary education. Overall, Het is a driven and talented software engineer with relevant experience of 1.36 years.
