Het Shah is a highly motivated and skilled undergraduate student researcher currently working at the Anuradha and Prashanth Palakurthi Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (APPCAIR). He is a computer science major from BITS Goa and has a relevant experience of 2.19 years in the field of research and software engineering. Het's current project, "Iterative Knowledge Distillation on Data-Free Learning," is in collaboration with TCS-Research. The project aims to find an iterative method to perform Knowledge Distillation on Data Free Learning model, and Het has modified the loss function for the Knowledge distillation part. Prior to his work at APPCAIR, Het has worked as an instructor at BITS and as a summer intern at Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics. At Bhaskaracharya Institute, Het created a novel Remote Sensing dataset from scratch for a project aimed at creating a semantic segmentation model for locating agricultural patterns specific to Horticulture. He constructed a U-Net model using Keras after considering and experimenting with several other algorithms. Het has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has a strong technical skill set, including expertise in Keras and experience as a research scientist and software engineer. Het is a driven and passionate individual who is always eager to learn and contribute to the field of computer science. He is a valuable asset to any team he is a part of and is always ready to take on new challenges.
