Hima Swetha Vandanapu is an experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for delivering quality software products. With over 8 years of experience in testing web and client/server applications, she specializes in software quality assurance and has sound knowledge of quality assurance procedures and testing of Pega/Java web-based applications and ETL applications. She is also experienced with SOA, SoapUI, and WSDL technologies. During her professional break, Hima gained knowledge on test automation for API, web-based, and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, RestAssured, Appium, Maven, TestNG, and Jenkins. She also gained knowledge on TDD, BDD, and working with Cucumber and Hybrid frameworks. Currently working at Gainsight, Hima's past experience includes working as an IT Consultant at SDL Partners, L.P. where she actively participated in daily Scrum meetings, review meetings, planning and grooming sessions to develop test scenarios. She analyzed business requirements and worked closely with various application and business teams to develop system test plans, test scenarios, and test cases. She coordinated test case assignment and execution with onshore and offshore team members and executed the test cases while reporting valid and relevant defects for the assigned functionalities. Hima also worked as a Marketing Assistant at Hetero Labs Limited in India where she developed knowledge on the pharmaceutical industry and analyzed various distribution channels of the product. She mapped potential customers who generated revenue for the organization and provided customized solutions to clients based on their requirements, leading to customer satisfaction. Hima holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science and a Master of Business Administration from IBS Bengaluru.
