Himangshu Borah is a Product and Experience Designer with a passion for people-centered design. With over 8 years of relevant experience in the field, Himangshu has worked across various tech start-ups, contributing to their growth and success. Currently working as a Principal Product Designer at Livspace, a tech-driven home-interior design startup, Himangshu has played a key role in defining and establishing the UX for Livspace's product suite. He has applied his interaction, design, and research skills to help the company attain product-market fit and scale its offerings. Later, he focused on building and scaling the UX team, which has further strengthened the company's position in the market. Himangshu has also conceptualized and designed a 3D furniture design platform for interior designers to create modular storage and kitchen designs, which resulted in a 5x growth in sales within 9 months of launch, boosting revenue to $30M. Prior to Livspace, Himangshu worked as a Senior UX Designer at Goibibo, where he led UX efforts for the hotels’ business. He redesigned the “Reviews & Ratings” module for iOS and android apps, focusing on rating travel experiences by photo-sharing, which increased user-engagement by 250%. Himangshu holds a Master of Science degree in Human Centered Design from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. He has also worked as a Research Scientist and has expertise in Android and iOS mobile platforms.
