Himani Sancheti is a Biostatistician at Cleveland Clinic with a passion for science, public health, research, and innovation. With a background in statistics, engineering, liberal studies, and public health research, Himani has developed the necessary skills and values to think critically, with different perspectives, and derive meaningful insights from data. Currently, Himani is working on research in colorectal cancer and surgery at Cleveland Clinic, where she helps examine the associations of relative protein expression levels from human left atrial tissue samples with clinical factors. She has measured approximately 3000 proteins on over 250 heart surgical samples using mass spectrometry. Prior to her current role, Himani worked as a Biostatistician Intern at Cleveland Clinic, where she gained experience in examining the associations of relative protein expression levels from human left atrial tissue samples with clinical factors, including hypertention, heart failure, diabetes, COPD, hypothyroid, mitral valve, and other valvular diseases. She has also worked as a Research Assistant - Biostatistics at Case Western Reserve University, where she analyzed a physician survey on the use of sustained release implants for glaucoma patients. Himani holds a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Case Western Reserve University, a Young India Fellowship in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Ashoka University, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Petroleum Engineering from UPES. She also holds a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates from Delhi Public School, Indore. With 3.43 years of relevant experience, Himani is a research scientist who is motivated to solve problems and bring data-driven impact. She is skilled in statistical analysis, data visualization, and machine learning techniques. Himani is a dedicated and hardworking professional who is always striving to learn and grow in her field.
