Himanshu Koli is an experienced data science and analytics professional with a demonstrated history of working with financial institutes and supply chain and logistics organizations in US, Canada, Australia, and India. He is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Indore and FRM Charter Holder. He has an active interest in data science and predictive modeling and has solved multiple business problems using machine learning and statistical algorithms. Himanshu has a skill set that includes supply chain, marketing and risk analytics, predictive analytics using AI/ML/NLP, transportation planning, business intelligence, and data mining. He has experience in industries such as BFSI, supply chain and logistics, e-commerce, and healthcare. Currently, Himanshu is working at Amazon as a Business Intelligence and Analytics professional. He is building analytical solutions for Amazon India's transportation planning across last mile, middle mile, and first mile network. He has developed forecasting models for optimized resource planning across Amazon's network and is developing automated BI tools that assist stakeholders in quick decision making and cost reduction. Prior to Amazon, Himanshu worked at Genpact as a Senior Manager, Data Science. He delivered analytics-related projects for supply chain and logistics clients based out of the US and built a predictive model in Python using ML algorithms like XGBoost and Random Forest to control complaints for remarketed truck units. He also conducted statistical modeling to estimate the variable cost of repairs as part of pricing the leasing contracts. Apart from his corporate experience, Himanshu has also worked as a guest lecturer at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, where he delivered lectures on data analytics/predictive modeling using R to MBA students as part of a co-teach activity between EXL and Nirma University. Himanshu's educational background includes a PGDM from Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). He also has experience in various tech stacks such as SQL, ML, Python, NLP, AWS, XGBoost, Deep Learning, AI, Random Forest, Sagemaker, Amazon Athena, Scikit, ETL, Apache Hive, and BERT.
