Himanshu Agarwal is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for building scalable solutions in the computer software industry. With over 5 years of relevant experience, he has a strong engineering background and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) in Varanasi. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Alphonso, Himanshu has been involved in building both internal and external-facing web applications. His work includes creating a near real-time system to process streaming data and show stats using Kafka, Elastic Search, and Kibana. He has also created scalable solutions for providing customers with reports, airings, and viewership information for their supported brands using React, Redux, Node, Express, ES6, Sagas, SQL, and Elastic Search. Prior to his current role, Himanshu worked as a Summer Intern at Morgan Stanley, where he built a Test Automation solution for the app to test high-critical test scenarios. He also worked as a Summer Intern at Ekalavya, IIT Bombay, where he enhanced the IITBombayX-edx platform by automating the transferring of event logs to HDFS and running analytics tasks using Jenkins.
