Himanshu is a highly motivated product enthusiast with a passion for creating augmented products that enhance customer experience. With over 6 years of corporate experience as an Android developer and an Entrepreneur, he has always been keen to create products that exceed customer expectations and ease out pain points. Himanshu is currently the co-founder of Planhop, a one-stop platform for users to create personalized trips together, simplifying travel planning and collaboration. As an Android developer at Travelyaari, Himanshu revamped the app created by a third party, developed a new app from scratch with enhanced features using MVP architecture, RxJava, and other latest technologies. At Grabhouse, he worked on two data collection apps and implemented background syncing of data using sync adapter and content provider. He also used AppCompat to keep the UI simple and beautiful for all versions of Android and utilized the best available third-party libraries to enhance the performance and UI of the Android app. Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from VIT, where he gained a strong foundation in his field of study. He also completed his SSC from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Borai, Durg, with a focus on Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Himanshu's tech stack includes Android, Java, UI, Research Scientist, Mobile, iOS, and Backend. He has relevant experience of 8.78 years and has been a part of startups in travel, education, e-commerce, and entertainment industries. With a current user-base of 20k, Himanshu and his team at Planhop aim to democratize travel planning by building a community combined with technology to enable every traveler to be safe and maximize their experience while being on a trip.
