Himanshu Bajpai is a Lead Software Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the field of Machine Learning and Data Analytics. He is a Philomath and Bibliophile who loves exploring new technologies and reading books to train his mind. Currently, he is working as an ML Engineer to build machine learning systems at scale that can help drive decision making with the help of analytics. He is also interested in understanding language and improving existing NLP systems. Himanshu started his career as an Educator at Infosys, where he spent two years in Mysore, taking sessions, managing batches of trainees, developing courses, and automating exam scheduling and evaluations. Later, he moved to Pune and joined Microsoft as a vendor, where he worked extensively in developing, maintaining, optimizing, and deploying Micro Services to manage Infrastructure for Dynamics-365. He has also done different POCs to improve various aspects of the service, such as reducing disk size, improving deployment time, and migrating resources to other subscriptions with no downtime for customers. Himanshu has a Master's degree in Software Systems with a specialization in Data Analytics from BITS, Pilani. He is also working as a Guest Faculty at BITS WILP to make his contribution to academics and continue learning. He has technical expertise in C#, Python, Scala, MS SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB. He is proficient in cloud computing, DE/DS tools, system architecture, and machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning and NLP. Himanshu is currently exploring Quantum Computing and its applications in AI. He has completed NanoDegrees in Natural Language Processing and Data Science from Udacity. One of the lessons he has learned as a software developer is that resolving bugs teaches you a lot more than working on a task. It helps in enhancing critical and analytical thinking.
