Himanshu Balasamanta is a skilled Software Engineer with 2.70 years of experience in the industry. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, he has worked with some of the top companies in the field. As a Software Development Intern at Juspay, Himanshu collaborated with senior developers in the Refunds Team to develop the next Refunds Version. He enabled changes to be made on the fly by shifting the action-on-failure decision from code-based to DB configuration, thus reducing reaction time drastically. He also debugged and reduced the weekly manual review cases in refunds by 17% by going through the production logs and troubleshooting issues in code. Himanshu has also worked as a Lead Backend Developer at Prastuti, where he designed the backend of the Django WebApp, implementing team formation through requests, admin page, user dashboard, and sending workshop mails through Gmail SMTP. Apart from his professional work, Himanshu is also a volunteer at Art of Living and has been organizing stress-relieving workshops for his juniors every year in the institute.
