Himanshu Dixit is a highly skilled Design Engineer with a passion for innovation and new technologies. With over 3 years of experience in the field, he has contributed to projects in diverse sectors such as Home Automation, FMCG, Kitchen Appliances, Consumer goods, Construction, Security and Surveillance. As a member of the Product Design Engineering Team, he has worked on different stages of Product Design and Development (NPD) projects, including Design Research, Proof-Of-Concept, Detailed Engineering, Drawings, and Prototype Release. Himanshu is proficient in Solid and Surface modeling, Plastics and Sheet metal design, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD & T), Design for manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis FMEA. He is also involved in Materials and Product Technical Research, Bill of Materials Creation, Patent Presentations, and Vendor Development and Management. Himanshu's internship experience includes performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Thermal Analysis for various projects. His 6-month internship project involved in-depth product research, analysis, and experimentation to Design optimized Artificial Insemination Liquid Nitrogen Dewar, under consideration of BIS standards. In his final year core project, Himanshu experimentally investigated the Dependence of Build Spacing and Orientation on Mechanical Properties of PolyJet 3D printing (PJ 3DP) aka PolyJet Additive Manufacturing parts. He also performed Fractographic failure analysis using Scanning Electron Microscopy and demonstrated the optimal parameters that can Improve the Tensile Strength & Surface Hardness of PJ 3D printed parts. Himanshu is highly interested in the design, research, and development fields of the Automobile Industry, Electronic Goods, Home Automation, FMEG, Healthcare, Equipment Manufacturing Industry, Heavy Machinery Manufacturing, and Engineering Construction. He is a perpetual learner and a dynamic individual, always looking for opportunities as a Mechanical Design Engineer, excited to explore and work with different aspects of Design Engineering. Himanshu's software skills include SolidWorks, Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Thermal, and Siemens NX. He is also experienced in using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D Printing, PolyJet 3D Printing, Laser Cutting Machine, CNC, EDM, and WEDM. Besides work, Himanshu enjoys break dancing, listening to EDMs, playing chess, and sketching.
