Himanshu Goyal is a Lead Engineer at Radisys Corporation with over 6 years of experience in analysis, integration, and development of various Telecom software's, with a focus on Cloud, NFV, Automation, vRAN, vEPC. He has extensive experience in Network Function Virtualization vEPC & vRAN and has worked with OpenStack, Openshift, Starlingx, VNFM, Kubernetes, Docker, Heat, Ansible, DPDK, SRIOV. Himanshu has a good understanding of C, shell scripting, Linux, and Ansible and has a good understanding of ETSI NFV MANO Architecture. He is currently involved in the virtualization of Radisys 5G RAN Solution. Prior to joining Radisys, Himanshu worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aricent where he was a part of the Virtual EPC Team, a cloud technology-based project where the focus was to port the Aricent EPC IPR on the cloud platform using the Openstack framework and then its integration with the Aricent MANO product, which is incompliance with ETSI MANO specification. Himanshu's role at Aricent included setting up a private cloud using Openstack cloud projects (Neutron, Nova, Glance, Keystone, Dashboard, etc.) on Aricent Servers, developing the Ansible playbook & Heat scripts for automatic configuration and installation of EPC nodes on Openstack VM’s, developing the rest-based Ve-Vnfm interface between the EMS and VNFM using the python Flask framework, and creating all the required Descriptor's (VNFD, LCMD, VLD, NSD, VNFFGD) for deployment of EPC Nodes with MANO. He also deployed Aricent's EPC IPR Nodes with the help of Aricent's MANO, which is incompliance with ETSI MANO and integrated Fast-path DP with PCI-Passthrough/SRIOV NIC on Openstack VM. Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Information Technology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. His relevant experience in the field is 7.78 years, and he possesses expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Ansible, Integration, Jenkins, Python, Kubernetes, Docker, and Flask.
