Himanshu Handa is a Technical Consulting Engineer-DataCenter at Cisco with 8.69 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Senior Network Consultant at Capgemini for Cisco-IT, where he assisted with deployment assistance and troubleshooting Cisco Data Center Solutions including UCS Servers (Blade and Rack-mounts), Cisco Nexus Switches (2K, 3k, 5K, 7K, 9K, UCS FI Load Balancer), ACI Deployment, legacy networks to ACI Migrations and management, VMware deployment and Troubleshooting. Himanshu has a good understanding and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and deployment of server-grade hardware from Cisco and HP. He is also proficient in handling other Cisco Catalyst switches and routers. He has been an active part of Cisco TAC - DataCenter & Virtualization team prior to this. He has expertise in VMware network orchestration using VSS, VDS, vMotion, DRS, etc., VMware NSX, Openstack deployment, and integration with ACI. He also has experience in deployment and managing Citrix Netscaler VPX and SDX load balancers(slb & gslb), and exposure to using Python and Ansible for automating network management tasks and managing ACI. Himanshu holds an MBA in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from D.A.V.P.G College, Dehradun. His technical skills include Ansible, Python, and Integration. He has worked with Aricent as a Network Engineer, where he was a Cisco TAC - Data Center Domain Escalation Engineer and worked on multiple Cisco and Cross Vendor Technologies including Cisco' UCS, Nexus, ACI, VMware's VSS, VDS, NSX, SAN Storage solutions, and UCS integration.
