Himanshu Jain is a full stack data scientist with over 7 years of experience in the field. He holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. He also pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Currently, he is working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at PAVE, where he is responsible for building scalable products from scratch that revolve around Machine Learning. He is involved in everything from system design, data wrangling, building ML models using unstructured & structured data, and deploying those into production in a cloud-native environment. Prior to this, he has worked with diverse firms ranging from an e-commerce startup, Zilingo, to a large multinational bank, Barclays. Himanshu is proficient in Python, PySpark, Apache Impala, SQL, Airflow, AWS services, Kubernetes, building Jules pipeline, Docker containerization, and has worked on visualization tools like Tableau, Qlikview, etc. He has gained an understanding of Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, and Cloud Computing by working on projects such as Email Analyzer, Entity Resolution, Fashion Recommendation Systems, Credit Scoring, OCR, etc. At JP Morgan, he built a firm-wide ML-First product to analyze emails smartly from 50+ shared mailboxes. He also built Entity Resolution to match person entities across different data sources for the US Wealthy people to build the Knowledge Graph. At Zilingo, he implemented end-to-end Image-based Fashion Recommendation engine pipeline for Zilingo Product Page across all South-east Asia regions for both B2C and B2B platforms. He also developed Credit Scoring mechanism for B2B Fintech business based on merchant’s historical transactions and demographics data.
