Himanshu Jajoo is an experienced Software Engineer with a passion for developing high-performance applications and technical innovations. With over 4 years of relevant experience, he has gained extensive knowledge while developing software and complex systems for multiple firms. Himanshu has proven ability to build easy-to-use, user-friendly applications and is highly organized, creative, and accountable. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Cerner Corporation, Himanshu is part of a project team that is uplifting health insurance claims and remittance processing from mainframe systems. He is constantly collaborating with the OPS team for requirements and feedback and has successfully completed a POC to use drools for creating business rules, which helped in reducing the number of rules residing on the mainframe by 70%. Himanshu is also constantly working on automating the testing and deployment process for claims and remittance processing in order to increase overall development speed while ensuring correct functionality across areas. In addition, Himanshu has developed a reporting tool using Spring Framework to replace and enhance SAS reports and the process by which they’re produced by migrating them to SPLUNK. He has also worked towards full-stack development on a project Room Finder, a web application that helps employees to book meeting rooms with enhanced features like displaying capacity, audio-video capability for meeting rooms. Prior to Cerner Corporation, Himanshu worked as an Application Developer at NJ Courts where he was involved in the development of a Paperless Parking Enforcement System Prototype consisting of ticketing application, a server-side web application to persist and share data, a ticket lookup kiosk application, and a public mobile application. He was responsible for coordinating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API, identifying solutions for business requirements, and assisting in ongoing maintenance and production support of existing applications. Himanshu also worked as a Software Developer Intern at The Legal Aid Society of NYC where he inspected the source code of an existing probabilistic genotyping software program and created a graphical user interface for the software using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Java to improve the user experience for a typical forensic DNA analyst who is not a computer programmer. Himanshu has a Master's degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from Watumull Institute.
