Himanshu Kaushik is an IAS Officer of the 2018 batch serving in the Andhra Pradesh cadre. Prior to his current role, he worked as a Software Developer from 2013 to 2016. With a passion for public service, he resigned from his job and started preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. He cleared it in the first attempt with an All India Rank of 77 and joined the prestigious Indian Administrative Service. Himanshu's focus is on resolving issues encountered in administration and improving the interaction between government and industry. He is passionate about improving governance and collaborating with others to build a better India. Currently serving as the Additional Resident Commissioner at Andhra Bhavan, he has previously held positions such as Joint Collector (Housing) and Sub Collector & Sub Divisional Magistrate in Amalapuram, East Godavari District. Himanshu's educational background includes a B.Tech degree in Engineering from Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad, which he completed in 2013. He has relevant experience of 7.61 years in the field of software engineering and infrastructure. With his diverse background and experience, Himanshu is a valuable asset to the Indian Administrative Service. He is committed to making a positive impact on society and is constantly looking for ways to improve the lives of those around him.
