Himanshu Kumar is an experienced firmware engineer with a passion for developing consumer devices that enhance the user experience. He has been working at Apple Inc. for the past 5 years and has contributed to the development of multiple platforms and technologies. Some of the products he has worked on include Apple TV, SIRI Remote, iPad Pro, and Wireless Charging. Himanshu is skilled in programming languages such as C and C++, as well as ARM and Wireless Charging technologies. He is currently enrolled in the Udacity Autonomous Driving Nano Degree program to explore other technological fields. As a HID Firmware Engineer at Apple, Himanshu has worked on different products and has been a module owner for Apple TV, SIRI Remote, iPad Pro, and Wireless Charging. His work highlights include Infrared Encoding/Decoding for multiple IR protocols, Power delivery and Comms for Wireless charging products, and OTA FW Update for devices. Prior to joining Apple, Himanshu worked as an Intern at the company, where he developed firmware that helped developers and QA teams track the latency of clicks on Magic Trackpad. He was also a Lab TA in Robotics at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he assisted students with lab assignments. Himanshu holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, a PG-Diploma in Embedded System from C-DAC, and a B.Tech in Electronics & Tele-communication Engineering from College of Engineering, Roorkee. He completed his 10+2 education at Rose Public School, Darbhanga. With nearly 10 years of relevant experience, Himanshu is a skilled firmware engineer with a passion for developing consumer devices that enhance the user experience.
