Himanshu Lakhotiya is an experienced Security Tech Lead at Arcesium with a strong background in web application and infrastructure security. Prior to this, he worked as a Security Engineer at Nestaway Technologies Pvt Ltd, where he developed an in-house security monitoring tool and implemented proper session management with cookies, authentication tokens, and JWT tokens. He also found and fixed vulnerabilities like IDOR, SQLi, RCE, Code injections, CSRF, and malicious file uploads, and integrated a firewall check abuse score and block actors doing such attacks. Additionally, he set up AWS WAF, Guardduty, and advanced monitoring using AWS SDKs, the in-house monitoring app, Lambda, and Cloudwatch. Himanshu also has experience working as a Software Engineering Intern at Avaya, where he integrated Phone Book Access Profile (PBAP) on Avaya Vantage, an android-based deskphone, and fixed various bugs on the web user-interface and backend of Avaya J123, a Linux-based deskphone.
