Himanshu Prashar is a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for software and gaming. He is ISTQB-CTFL and Certified ScrumMaster®(CSM) certified and has a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies, STLC, and Bug lifecycle. With over 4 years of relevant experience in the industry, Himanshu has a demonstrated history of working in both B2B and Product-based companies. Currently, Himanshu is a Member of Technical Staff at Bluestacks where he is working on Piggy Infinity; an RPG levelling Discord bot that runs on the discord server and allows users to play and level up. In this gaming bot, users earn in-game coins which can be converted into real money in the form of cryptocurrency. Himanshu has a strong understanding of Agile testing, Bug study, Test planning, Process management, and Test cases. He is also proficient in using JIRA for bug tracking and has knowledge of Salesforce CRM with development using APEX. In his previous role as a Senior QA Engineer at Keywords Studios, Himanshu worked on multiple gaming/software projects including AAA titles. He was responsible for deploying various API (Test builds) in multiple platforms, mentoring the test team, giving team members progress and project reports to respective leads and managers, team management (Deployment and distribution of tasks), vetting and verification of bugs entered by the team, client communication, generating of the day end project reports, creation of test plans and test cases according to the project requirement, resolving the queries and questions of the team, and more. He also has experience with VR/AR (Virtual Reality headset) related API testing including HTC Vive, Oculus (GO, Quest, Quest-2, Rift). Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Software Engineering from Kurukshetra University. His tech stack includes test, Software Engineer, qa, SDET, Salesforce, Android, and iOS.
