Himanshu Retarekar is a Co-Founder at Obvious Technology, with over 10 years of experience in building mobile technology for consumer internet startups. He is passionate about making Web3 as accessible as Web2. Himanshu has a proven track record of building mobile teams from scratch and taking a mobile-first approach to building operating systems. At Freight Tiger, he built the mobile team from scratch and eventually took a mobile-only approach to building an operating system that powers the entire freight industry. As a Director of Engineering at Olacabs, Himanshu headed the Customer Experience charter to deliver a world-class consumer experience to Olacabs users. He was responsible for delivering important projects like App Rearchitecture, Payments, Siri, and Ola Play from the consumer app side. He was awarded the best team award in Ola for the Rearchitecture effort that reduced the cost of launching new categories. Himanshu was also a co-founder at Pepper Talk, a "messaging as a service" startup, where he built the mobile SDKs and helped build the company from scratch by dabbling in hiring, design, sales, and other startup building activities.
